What to expect

A fascinating dive into Lithuania and Vilnius' forgotten history as an important part of Viking culture, on a real Viking ship!!

On an awesome cruise along the Neris river through the center of Vilnius, the guys will tell you stories, get you to row, sing and try some Viking traditions. If you're old enough, you might even get to try their homemade mead!

Fun fact:

Most people know the Scandinavian Vikings, but Lithuania and the Baltics were home to their very own raiders and warriors. They patrolled the coast, and even sailed inland as far as Kyiv!

Who organises it?

Cool brothers Tomas and Jonas aka the Baltic Vikings. Tomas will be the main host and make sure you have a great time, while Jonas is the main sailor in charge of the mighty ship.

How to get there

The easiest way is from the Cathedral. Walk to the river, across the bridge, and then turn left. Go down on to the river side (there is an outdoor bar with lots of seats) and walk along the river a few minutes, you'll see the Viking ship and Tomas will probably be waving.

Tips for visitors

• There is a canopy, but if it looks like rain is coming then bring a coat - you'll probably get wet if it rains!
• For the best experience, join in! There will be singing and chances to try Viking life. Tomas will probably ask you to row which is awesome (but there is no pressure so you can skip it!)
